New Wood Veneers for 2025

by Wagner Skis / Aug 09, 2024

August? New wood veneers already?

We're moving up our release dates for all of our graphics this year, and we're starting with a couple of wood veneers for your consideration.

Quartered Tineo

Quartered tineo wood veneer from Wagner Custom Skis

Quartered Tineo is an evergreen tree that grows in the Chilean Andes. Our carefully curated batch boasts a rich, dark grain pattern with striking black stripes in a wavy texture. Not only is its extraordinary, lively pattern impossible to imitate, it’s also hard to resist — for premium high-end furniture, flooring, boatbuilding, and now your custom skis.

Ropey Black Walnut

Ropey Black Walnut veneer from Wagner Custom Skis.

Ropey Black Walnut, native to the eastern United States and Canada, has a deep chocolate color, warm luster, fine texture, and swirling figure. This straight-cut wood is commonly used for high-quality furniture, craft joinery, gun stocks, and musical instruments. The beautiful qualities of this veneer make it a natural choice as a topsheet for your skis.

We're about to release our House Graphics for the 2025 season, and shortly thereafter kick off the Artist Series! Stay tuned to our Journal, website, and social media to get them first.
