Eyes That See
Móyòsóré Martins is a New York-based Nigerian contemporary artist taking the art world by storm. He’s a renaissance man who dabbles in graphics, product design, music—and now skis. These skis are more than just equipment, they are a canvas showcasing MOYO's vibrant aesthetic.
“Eyes That See”, is derived from Moyosore Martins’ “Watchman” character, with vibrant and colorful form, radiating joy. The triple-eyes symbolize his ability to see, in a spiritual sense, and the yellow googly eyes represent the artists growing recognition, as more people see and connect with his work. The large mouth signifies conversations and dialogue surrounding his art. The scribbles and scratches represent his wishes and manifestations. “1986” marks the year of his birth, grounding the work in his personal narrative.
